What are the check-in and check-out times?Check in is between 3:00pm - 7:00pm*. Check out is at 11:00am. *If you require a late check in please let us know in advance.

How do I book?The first step is to choose a trailer on the "Our Trailers" page and press the booking button below. Then, you will be redirected to our booking site where you can choose the nights you want to stay!

Where can I park my car?There is parking for one car at each site, in front of your trailer. Please leave your car in your site’s driveway during your stay and do not infringe on your neighbour's site. Additional cars can park in our exterior parking lot.

Can I make a group booking?Yes! Just check out our Events page and fill out the form.

Is there a minimum stay for booking?Most of our trailers require a two night minimum for booking.

Can I bring my own trailer?Yes! Vintage Vacations is located in the heart of Shubie Campground where your trailer will be more than welcome! Click here to go to the Shubie site.

Can I cancel my booking?All of our trailers require a minimum of 14 days cancellation notice to receive a full refund less our cancellation fee of $25.

Do the trailers have their own washrooms?Most trailers have a full bath in the trailer (see their individual listings for details) just keep in mind, trailers have tight quarters and smaller water heaters. For more space or longer, hotter showers, all guests are welcome to use our Washroom Pavilion which is located next to the main office.

Do the trailers have heating and air conditioning?'Roxanne' and 'Florence' have air conditioning and heating 'Margaux' and 'Opal' do not.

Do the trailers have WI-FI?There is basic wi-fi at all Vintage Vacation sites, good for checking emails and other basic activities.

Can I cook in my trailer?Our Airstreams are all equipped with a small kitchenette including a microwave and toaster. Due to their vintage nature, there is no working stove inside the trailer and we kindly ask that you do not cook using any other appliance other than those provided. Many of our Airstreams have a BBQ provided and all trailers have full access to our Outdoor Kitchen area that is also equipped with a BBQ for your convenience. You are welcome to use your own propane camp stove outside should you wish.

Do you offer housekeeping?If your stay is 5 days or longer, please contact the main office and housekeeping can be arranged.

Are fires allowed?Yes! Each Vintage Trailer comes with its own deluxe outdoor fire pit. You will be provided with one bundle of complimentary firewood on arrival and additional fire wood is available for sale at our office. Please note that we do follow the Nova Scotia Burn Ban so if Fires aren't allowed in our region due to dry conditions, they aren't allowed in our campground either.

Can I bring my pet?While we love our furry friends, due to the vintage nature of our trailers, pets are restricted to service animals only. There is a $250 cleaning fee should you bring a pet into one of our Vintage Vacations trailers.

Are parties allowed?We all like to have fun, but please remember to be mindful of others. When glamping with us at Vintage Vacations, excessive noise and inebriation are not allowed. Guests who violate this policy will be asked to leave immediately and will not be refunded for any portion of their stay. Please also note that there is only ever a maximum of 6 people allowed on your site.

Are the trailers handicap accessible?Unfortunately, due to the vintage nature of our trailers, we are not able to meet handicap requirements. We can offer handicap parking, accessible pathways, and a site for those with their own handicap accessible trailers.

Do I get access to the Shubie Park amenities?Yes! If you stay in a Vintage Vacation trailer, you gain full access to all the beauty that Shubie Park has to offer such as the hiking trails and swimming in Lake Charles.

Are there quiet hours?Our quiet hours are from 11:00pm - 8:00am. Failure to follow these regulations will result in appropriate penalization.

Is this camping?Our Vintage Vacation experience is not considered camping, but it is "glamping"! Each trailer has a carefully curated personality and vibe that is sure to give you the ultimate glamping experience you're looking for.

Is Vintage Vacations family friendly?Absolutely, we would love to host you and your kids! There’s plenty of activities to keep guests of all ages entertained, including a lake, hiking trails, board and lawn games, playground, pump track and more. We have two trailers which are ideal for families, Rose and Margaux. Children must be supervised at all times.

Can I do laundry during my stay?Definitely – our Bathhouse has laundry facilities for all guests’ use.

Do you offer gift certificates?We do! Please email us at stay@shubiecampground.com and we would love to mail you or the gift recipient a gift certificate. We can also email it to you if you’re needing a quick gift.

Is smoking allowed?Smoking is not allowed in any of our vintage trailers or in public space or building. There is a $250 fee for smoking in the rental trailers. Please smoke outside only and properly dispose of your cigarette butts. As we are located in a family friendly campground no cannabis smoking is allowed in July/August.

Do you sell bags of ice?Yes, we do sell bags of ice when our office is open.
